Information Collection and Use

AnimeSR+ is provided by AnimeSR+ Developer as a free service. The app is intended for use as is.

The app may collect basic automatically collected information such as device Internet Protocol address, app usage pages, time and date of use, time spent in the app, and mobile operating system. The app does not collect precise device location.

Catalog data and images are requested from external media catalog services so the app can show search results, popular titles, details, posters, and backdrops. Personal library state remains local on the device.

AI Chat Data Sharing

AI Chat is optional and is blocked until you provide explicit consent in the app. Before any AI Chat network request, the consent screen explains the data sent, the recipient, and the purpose.

When you use AI Chat, the app sends message text, chat_id, and a fixed system_prompt to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway infrastructure at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app.

This data is sent only to generate movie/TV chat responses and recommendations. The OpenRouter Chat proxy acts as a third-party processor/service provider for this feature and is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this Privacy Policy.

The AI chat service may retain conversation history server-side using chat_id to provide chat continuity. You can revoke AI chat data sharing in Settings. Revocation resets the local chat session and blocks future AI Chat requests until you provide consent again.

Third Party Access

The Service Provider may share information with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed as required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud, or to respond to a government request.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the app. You can disable AI chat data sharing in Settings without uninstalling the app.

Data Retention

Local library and app preference data remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the app. User-provided AI Chat messages may be retained server-side by the AI chat service using chat_id for conversation continuity as described above.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe a child has provided personally identifiable information through the app or services, contact the Service Provider so appropriate action can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable safeguards for information processed and maintained.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this page regularly for changes. This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-06-19.
